Greetings, we are Aria and Sami, priestesses of whimsical movement.

We are a performance duo, specialising in the realms of flow arts and dance. We are here to serve as a guide post to shedding the rules we carry as adults. We get to create our own rules, together.

Come play with us. We'll share with you our story.

Allow the sweet sounds of Ham eating a cucumber lull you into buying a ticket to the Temple of Ham Flowjam Fundraiser event. You are feeling so sleepy, and so compelled to spin flow props with a group of funky human beings. Ham is cleansing all of your energy centers with each chomp, and you’re suddenly very busy on Dec 7th dancing, flowing, and connecting with the Calgary flow community.

We will have the musical talents of @the_shitz_n_gigglz @riledupmusic @wonteemusic @archiesound @_leafonastick_ to play us sweet bassy goodness all night, with the mesmerizing visuals of @shrtbrd.visuals to make things extra magical. The event is also being sponsored by @kiamythos_films!

Help us raise money to support the local flow community to offer free drop-in to everyone all winter long! And join us every Sunday from 3:30 - 5:30 at the Bankview Community Association until the end of April to flow, dance, and connect!

We are live! We just published our website and tickets can be purchased there for the Temple of Ham Flowjam Raffle Fundraiser! Link in bio!! WEeeeeeeEEeeEeEeeee

We are hosting our first indoor flowjam as a raffle fundraiser with the goal of making indoor flow free for everyone all winter. We believe movement in community is a basic human right and wish to all come together to make this possible.

This event has a lineup of 5 whole locally sourced, free range DJs. We are so excited and honoured to be collaborating with @the_shitz_n_gigglz @riledupmusic @_leafonastick_ @wonteemusic and @archiesound to create a magic evening of sounds and flows!

Beginning on December 7th until the end of April, we will be hosting a weekly flowjam from 3:30-5:30pm on Sundays. Currently we’ll need to charge a weekly drop-in fee of a minimum $5 up to $15, as we would require an average of around $10 to cover costs. With this fundraiser we hope to waive that fee for all attendees all winter.

What we are offering to the flow community is a safe space to connect through music, movement, and play. We offer a library of flow props for attendees to learn and practice with, free of charge. Our focus is to create a beginner friendly atmosphere that uplifts one another, and celebrates the learning journey for everyone.

All ages are welcome, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.

This is an alcohol and substance free event. No alcohol will be served or allowed on the premises. Anyone violating this will be asked to leave immediately.

One entry ticket per order. (This is to ensure the minimum $5 entry fee.)

This weekend we had our debut performance at SYNC, and were offered such a unique opportunity to explore movement and emotion on stage. With the haunting and alluring sounds of @animechanica we were able to offer the audience a cathartic release of emotion, displaying the ongoing push and pull between light and dark.

This experience was so moving to be a part of, and we both have so much gratitude for @oscill8collective for putting together such a beautiful event, and inviting us to be a part of it.

We also got the opportunity to dance alongside the visuals of @novacharlee which brought the whole vision together.

Thank you to everyone who attended this weekend, and we hope that this performance brought something up inside of you. We all carry the seeds of light and darkness within us, and they both deserve space to be felt and expressed.

No words can begin to describe the awe we have for the creature behind the lens of this video.

@jasdaviess is truly a magical entity – her creativity is truly unmatched. We were so lucky to have her here as part of this shoot. This clip she created is pure magic. We’re so incredibly grateful for everything that she is.

How fun it is to spend an afternoon frolicking with friends in the forest, to have @rjvphotography take our freeze us in time through photos and @dawslehmann weaving a sonic web for us to play to.

Our essence is of strange magic. We exist in the balance that hangs between dark and light realms. Weaving shadows into whimsy, we’ll grab your hand and pull you through a portal where we all get to be our strangest selves. What a joy to discover who you are amongst friends.

I have been practicing a variety of flow props for the last 6 years, but I primarily spin meteor, short staff, and contact staff.
